THE STORY

As you'll hear in her fathers speech, Molly originally wanted a wedding with a small, select group of friends... but she changed her mind - And we are pretty excited she did. Hanging out with Molly and John's friends and family, and then partying the night away with their 300+ guests was unforgettable and definitely a great way to start off our 2018 wedding season.

The day started where it ended - The Chase Park Plaza in Central West End. Molly's family happens to own space in the residential side of The Chase which allowed us access to some perfect locations to start the day. Just a few steps downstairs John was able to see Molly in her dress for the first time. Even though we could sense it as he opened his gift from Molly, this was the moment we knew John was not going to stop smiling. And Molly was right were she needed to be - with John.

We then headed to the Cathedral Basillica to get some shots of Molly, John, and their wedding party in the bitterly cold 20 degree weather. This was honestly perfect weather because these two loved to cuddle up and be close - which we love to capture.

After a beautiful ceremony at The Basillica, we headed back to The Chase were we were met with 500 roses individually hanging from the ceiling over the head table. Yes 500. It was incredible. That, paired with all of the other details made this venue breathtaking. Before dinner started, everyone was invited to the dance floor to get down to a few songs - such a great idea to get people comfortable on the dance floor. Although, it doesn't seem like anyone needed to get comfortable as we were almost caught in a stampede as everyone rushed to the dance floor! This group liked to get crazy! A huge thanks has to go to The Gold Coast Allstars for traveling from Chicago to keep these people dancing all night long.

Congrats Molly + John!
