What an absolutely perfect day. The overcast skies, the calm, slow breeze, the fall colors, and the love of Molly + Nick - all aspects combined for some unforgettable moments. We loved how intimate and sweet these two were with each other. At any given moment throughout the day you could probably find Molly wrapped up in Nicks arms and both of them with smiles on their face.
To start the day off, we traveled about an hour away from St. Louis for this wedding - actually back close to Mike's stomping grounds! Fun fact, some of the establishing nature shots were captured at Mike's parents house, right down the road from the ceremony venue!
After the ceremony, which took place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we traveled to the Daniel Boone Home with the wedding party. Molly was 100% right when she described how amazing the valley around the Daniel Boone Home is. The views were incredible, and allowed us to get some beautiful footage.
We then ended the night at Cedar Lake Cellars, in their new venue space - The Barrel Room. Smash Band was there to entertain and keep the party people (including us) dancing all night.
As always, it was great working along side Beth of Carretto Studio. Not only is she just super chill and genuinely nice, but the eye she has for photography and lighting is awesome to shoot along side. Oh also, she gave us half a sandwich when we realized we forgot our wedding day snacks at home.
Like every wedding, we feel so luck to have been a part of Molly and Nick's day!
Congrats Molly + Nick!
